The Regional Office of Education has received a grant to prepare teachers for using the Library of Congress website resources. The class I am taking is broken up into a couple seminars as well as a self – guided study. I am pretty pumped about this class and wanted to tell you all about the amazing resources I have learned about today…

There are over 15 million sources that have been digitized on the Library of Congress website for you to view and use for personal and professional development.
Of course there is a wide variety of topics, photos, maps, locations, time eras, activities, lessons, and games that are accessible on this website. This class will help us Educators navigate the website and bring these resources into our classroom for inquiry based learning.
