After watching Slumdog Millionaire, I had some reflections on the lives of the two brothers. One recieved from Righteous Gain, the other recieved from Unrighteous Gain.

Righteous Gain:
- Running to the law (fence of protection)
- Honesty
- Patient in waiting for redemption
- All restored for God’s glory and His victory in your life (okay, it didn’t focus on Christ, but I still can)
- Lived in truth and the light
- All he thought was lost – was now used for GOOD (Romans 8:28)
- Sacrifical relationships
- Selfless attitudes
- Spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control (Galatians 5:22)
- Perserverance and Patience (Romans 5)
- Righteousness that is godly is protected by the Lord
- All given from the King, His goodness lavished, ABUNDANCE (John 10:10)
- Leads to LIFE
Unrighteous Gain:
- Running from the law – hiding in sin
- Sinful gain is in vain
- Wealth gained quickly
- All judged
- Lives lived in darkness
- All that was good now lost
- Broken relationships based on greed and self gain
- Spirits of fear, guilt, condemnation, and violence
- NOW attitude. Plow others down to climb the “success” ladder
- Self righteousness – protect self
- All stripped away
- Leads to DEATH
